Meet Piet-Hein

Candidate for: Works Council (MSG constituency) and Group Committee 08
For and by employees, working together for a better KLM!
Employee participation is about employees. For and on. It is about co-responsibility, taking a critical look at the management and ensuring that KLM remains a well-functioning company. Where it is good to work. Nothing more. Piece of cake, right?
My name is Piet-Hein van Walderveen. I am 61 years old and currently work as a Reintegration Officer. During my 26 years of employment at KLM, I have gained a lot of experience in various roles. I also have the necessary experience as a member of the group committee and I am involved in the consultations with KLM as a delegation member of trade union De Unie. Always with an eye for the interests of the employees. Now I want to use this experience for the Works Council, so that together we can ensure a strong and healthy future for KLM.
What I think is important:
- Your vote counts: I want to make sure that every employee is heard. Whether it concerns work pressure, working conditions or changes in the company.
- Critical thinking: I believe that we can only build a stronger KLM by taking a critical look at business operations. This ensures that decisions are made in the interest of all of us.
- Working with pleasure: KLM must remain a place where it is good to work. I am committed to a culture of respect, transparency and open communication.
Together we make KLM better!
