On Tuesday afternoon, August 29, I had the honor of witnessing the festive arrival of the first Airbus A321 neo. A new and important milestone for KLM.
With the investment in a new, economical and quiet fleet, KLM is continuing to work on its future. In the presence of, among others, Minister Madlener and Ben Smith (CEO Air France/KLM), this was emphasized once again by KLM CEO Marjan Rintel in her welcome speech. We also think it is good that despite the sometimes difficult (market) conditions, KLM is able to continue to make such investments. This offers perspective for all KLM employees.
In doing so, we will continue to work for your interests! Not only when it comes to maintaining your employment, but also for your terms of employment. Collective labor agreement negotiations will start again at the end of this year. Of course we want to know what you think is important.
